Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2016 Hyundai Sonata- Video

Today on our 2016 Hyundai Sonata we'll be taking a look at the Rhino Rack Vortex Arrow Roof Rack System. The part numbers for our cross bars are going to be RRVA126B-2, for our Rhino Rack 2500 Series legs we're using RRRLKVA, and for our custom DK Fit Kit for our Sonata, we're using DK455. The Rhino Rack Vortex Arrow CrossBars are aerodynamic crossbars that help reduce wind noise and drag and are going to allow you to carry cargo boxes, bike racks, kyak saddles, ski carriers, and other accessories on your vehicle's roof. By putting these accessories on your roof it will give you more room inside your car and more room in the back. The weatherstripping is easy to remove and can be cut so you can add channel-mounted accessories, but also have that weatherstripping there to still help reduce that wind noise and drag. This roof rack system also works with clamp-on accessories as well. These crossbars are 49" long, though we do have multiple lengths available. Just make sure that they don't extend out past your vehicle's sideview mirrors. The Rhino Rack crossbars have a 165 pound weight capacity, but you do want to check your vehicle's owner manual to make sure it can withstand that much weight. Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2013 Hyundai Sonata- Video

Today in our 2013 Hyundai Sonata, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Roof Rack system, consisting of part numbers RRVA126B-2, these are Rhino Rack's Vortex Arrow crossbars in black. They also come in silver, part number RRVA126S-2. We also have part number RRRLKVA, and these are the 2500 series legs for the Vortex crossbars. We also have part number DK250, and this is the fit kit for this specific vehicle with the clamps that go around your roof. We already have the front one installed. As you can see, with the bar here, it has a nice aerodynamic shape to it, which is going to cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving. Combined with the other bar, it has a carrying capacity of 165 pounds, although you want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure it can withstand that much weight. We already have the front one installed, so let's go ahead and show you how the rear one installs. more

Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Hyundai Sonata- Video

Today, on our 2013 Hyundai Sonata, well be test fitting the Yakima Q-Tower Roof Rack System using Part Number Y00409, Y00683 and Y00124. Because we need four for this vehicle, well actually be using two of the Y00683s.Now, to begin our test fit, weve already gone ahead and set up our roof rack system according to the instructions found within the fit kit. To begin, by placing the front crossbar over our roof, where well take a measurement. Well measure from the edge of the windshield back on the roof, 13 inches. This will be the location of the leading edge of our crossbar tower. Well do this on both sides of the vehicle, giving us the proper location for the front cross bar.We can now work back and forth with the clamps, clamping it to the roof of our Sonata. more

Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Hyundai Sonata- Video

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Sonata, we'll be test fitting the Thule roof rack system. We'll be using the 58" square load bars, part number THLB58; the traverse foot pack, part number TH480; and the fit kit specific to this vehicle, part number THKIT1577. To install the roof rack, first we'll open the driver and passenger side doors in the front. We'll set our front load bar up on top of the roof line, and check the instructions for the measurement to properly set the bar. We need to measure 13-3/8" from the edge of the windshield to the leading edge of the traverse foot on either side of the vehicle. Once we have the bar into position, we'll fit our clamps against the roof line of the vehicle, and use the included AcuTight wrench to tighten it down. more

Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2009 Hyundai Sonata- Video

All right on this 2009 Hyundai sonata we are going to do a test of a Thule roof rack system we will be using traverse foot pack with the square load bars part numbers TH480, THKIT1388, THOB50. Okay, we are going to start off our test fit with the roof rack already reassembled according to the instructions. All we are going to do is to put it on the roof of our car. We'll start with our first cross bar going towards the front we will put it on the roof and we will go ahead and measure out and slide into the correct spot. Now we're going to measure from the edge of the windshield to the leading edge of the foot pack. Now always go by your instruction, however in this case this distance will be 9 inches. more
